Department of mechanics of composites (Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty, MSU) trains highly qualified specialists in the field of composites. Graduates of the department successfully solve the tasks at the enterprises of national aviation and defense industry, develop and improve knowledge intensive industries. In the Department of Chemical Engineering and New Materials of the Faculty of Chemistry a series of courses and practical сlasses on technology of composite materials production is given. The most successful students work in the field of composite materials in the company "INUMiT".
“Kazan helicopters” is one of the leading enterprises in the field of helicopters and significant "player" in the global market. Nowadays " Kazan helicopters " is unique integrated works in industry, i.e. it is engaged in the helicopter development and serial production.
In 1951 “Kazan helicopters” launched Mi-1 helicopter production. That was the first serial manufacture of rotorcrafts in USSR. The plant produced Mi-4 that was the first exported national helicopter, and manufactures the most popular and mass type of all the helicopters of Mi-8/17 series.In spite of difficulties in 90-ies the plant was transformed into open joint-stock company and obtained right of entry. The plant got opportunity to re-equip manufacture, to introduce new technologies of processing and assembly. In 2007 “Kazan helicopter” was included into holding company вошел в холдинг «Russian helicopters».
Today Kazan national research technology university is the largest education center of chemical technology specialty in Russia and leader in preparation of high-qualified engineering personnel in chemical technology. Inter-branch engineering centre «Composites of Russia», BMSTU is the leading engineering centre in Russian in the sphere of composite and composite-based products development.
IEC “Composites of Russia” was founded in 2011 for performance of fundamental and applied scientific research, development, experimental and engineering activities in the sphere of material science, composites and nanotechnologies in cooperation with university departments and scientific units.The Centre provides engineering services based on «сlosed cycle» that range from new materials development and treatment process to design and production of composite-based items in main production branches including transport, building, power engineering, oil-and-gas, petrochemical industry and biomedicine.
The Nanotechnology Centre of Composites Project was launched in 2011 with the support of Holding Company “Composite” and Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs. Mission of Nanotechnology Centre of Composites is to make composites irreplaceable in various industries.
This is because composites can fly, swim, drive, build, support, strengthen, protect, isolate, and sometimes conduct current.

Southeast University (SEU) is one of the national key universities administered directly under the Central Government and the Ministry of Education of China. It is also one of the universities of Project 211 and Program 985 that is financed by the Central Government to build as a world-class university. Located in the ancient capital city of Nanjing, Southeast University has campuses such as Sipailou, Jiulonghu and Dingjiaqiao, covering a total area of 392 hectares.
Southeast University is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in China. Its origin can be traced back to 1902, when it was founded as Sanjiang Normal College. Then, it evolved as: Nanjing Higher Normal School, National Southeast University, National Fourth Sun Yat-sen University, Jiangsu University and National Central University. After the liberation, it evolved as National Nanjing University and Nanjing Institute of Technology. In May 1988, the university was renamed Southeast University. And in April 2000, Nanjing Railway Medical College, Nanjing College of Communications and Nanjing Geological School were merged into the university, whose main campus is located at the center of the ancient capital city of Nanjing, a sacred place for education since the Ming Dynasty.

Northwest University located in Xi'an city, Shaanxi Province, is one of the nation's leading comprehensive universities. Founded in 1902, it is one of the oldest institutions of learning in Northwest China. Presently, the university has 11 colleges, 33 departments, 63 Bachelor's and Associate's programs. Its student population amounts to 18,000, including about 2000 Ph.D. and master students, and about 100 international students. The university stresses international academic and personnel exchanges. The Defence Services Technological Academy (DSTA) located in Pyin-Oo-Lwin, Myanmar, is the premier technological university of the Myanmar Armed Forces.
